1- PROBLEM
The client normally implemented a yearly in-company training on fire safety attended by all the employees. Due to the large number of audience, the existing training did not provide any realistic practice and they could not monitor learner engagement and evaluate whether the learner goals are attained.
2- MY SOLUTION
An interactive Fire Safety Course aimed at helping the company newcomers prevent and react to fire hazards. The learners are first evaluated on their current abilities to prevent a fire hazard and based on their result continue to complete the entire course or only the part that is applicable to them (branching scenario). Authoring tool: Adobe Captivate.
3- OUTCOME
The client was happy with the training and its ROI as each and every employee could now engage in realistic practice, their results could be recorded and the cost of training was cut (there was no need to pay for new in-company training every year as before).
